I am using Excel 2003 to graph data over distances of 10 to 15 thousand feet.
The page sizes offered are so small that changes in the data over this range are difficult to detect. Is there a way to make a custom page size that is roughly 12 inches tall with the potential to be infinately long. This way, all the data wouldn't be crowded into a limited area, and a person could scroll left or right along the data interval. |

Hi,
Infinitely long - No! You can customize to page size but it is related to your printer drivers. You pick a different size page by choosing File, Page Setup and on the Page sheet picking from Pager size. You can imbed the chart in a sheet an widen the chart as wide as you want, then when you print you will have a chart on multiple pages, and then you can do a little old fashion cutting and pasting. -- If this helps, please click the Yes button Cheers, Shane Devenshire "Digger" wrote: I am using Excel 2003 to graph data over distances of 10 to 15 thousand feet. You could embed the chart in a worksheet, and make it however large you
want. A nicer approach would be to only show part of the data on a normal sized chart, and let the user scroll through the data. See the first example in Stephen Bullen's charting examples (FunChrt7) at http://oaltd.co.uk/Excel/SBXLPage.asp#Charting - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Peltier Technical Services, Inc. http://PeltierTech.com/WordPress/ _______ "Digger" wrote in message ...
