Default I want to draw a line through the columns of a chart, plot the o.

I have a basic column chart showing regional sales results by month. I would
like to draw a line through the columns. The line represents the overall
(all regions combined) sales results. The line needs to have a point for
each month that represents the sales number.

Dewey -

Make your column chart with one extra series, which contains the overall
results. Select this overall series, choose Chart Type from the Chart
menu, and select a suitable Line style.
