I'm working on a workbook with several charts. When I "create a copy" of a
worksheet that contains only a chart, the copy comes in automatically set to
"size with window". I don't want this to happen and can't figure out how to
undo the feature. I tried clicking on the icon, using Alt+, etc. to no
avail. Any suggestions?

Nomenclatu if it's a chart-only sheet, it's not a worksheet, it's a chart
sheet. A worksheet by definition has all those rows and columns.

With the chart sheet active, go to Tools menu Options Chart tab, and
uncheck the box for Chart sizes with window frame.

Thanks for the clarification - yes it is indeed a chart sheet. I tried
unchecking the icon for "Size with Window" but this was ineffective. Other
suggestions? Thanks.

Sometimes this setting doesn't work properly unless you have a printer
installed.

This might be one of those features that's inexplicably not available unless
there is a printer installed.

For clarification to anyone having this issue; this is a bug in Excel where "sized with window" is checked whenever you are missing a default printer. I do a daily report and once every couple of weeks, I would encounter the issue but couldn't figure out what was driving it. My default printer is a network printer and it seems that whenever it was jammed or unavailable when I initiated excel and my report this setting would check itself and become stuck in "sized with window" mode. I couldn't figure this out until Jon's wonderful comment.

So although you may have a printer installed already, be sure that it is online. If you continue to have problems, change your Default printer to something else and try again.
