Default trend lines on plots with negative X values

When I scatter plot a set of data with negative x values and add a trend
line, the trend line extends to x=0, when I would expect it to just cover the
data range.

eg
-2.3 1
-2.4 0
-2.7 -1
-3 -4

This is without the extending the trendline using the forecast options.

if I plot positve x values the bug does not happen

eg
2.3 -4
2.4 -1
2.7 -2
3 3

I am using Excel 2007 (12.0.6331.5000)

Yes, this behavior in Excel 2007 is unexpected and is different from
previous versions of Excel. I agree that it is an "undesirable feature,"
i.e., a bug.
