Excel 2003/2007 print chart options
I know the resizing options are gone from 2007. Does anyone know if there is
an effective work around or an addin to bring a more permanent resolution than recreating? And one more question; when converting to PDF there is space showing and it is cut off even when you give the parameters. Anyone know a reason behind this one? I have already removed all the comment fields in the settings (similiar resolution for a similiar problem in Word) So, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |
Excel 2003/2007 print chart options
Hi,
I've googles, looked though the Knowledge Base and no luck. Microsoft took the feature out so the only solution at present is to create the charts in 2003 and take advantage of this feature there until the charts are complete then move them to 2007 or leave them in 2003. I might ask why this first feature is so important? -- Thanks, Shane Devenshire "CHKMSTrainer" wrote: I know the resizing options are gone from 2007. Excel 2003/2007 print chart options
Well, that's the thing. The charts are complete in 2003 and were moved to
2007. The print options for fit to page and to set the print areas are all gone, greyed out. And then when you change the chart area in 2007 there is still a white border around the print out. They work when recreated. However, we have hundreds and possibly thousands of spreadsheets and charts and this is time consuming to recreate each one because that feature has been removed. And I still have not been able to find a resolve for the PDF conversion. Any ideas? Thanks. "ShaneDevenshire" wrote: Hi, I've googles, looked though the Knowledge Base and no luck. Excel 2003/2007 print chart options
Hi,
After I read this response I went back your first email and I realize I may have misunderstood. I assumed when you said the "resizing options" are gone you meant that on a chart page the command View, Size with Window was gone. But now you say the Set Print Area and Fit to Page are gone. These commands are not applicable to the Chart Page. So could you elaborate on exactly what "resizing options" you are refering to. -- Thanks, Shane Devenshire "CHKMSTrainer" wrote: Well, that's the thing.
