Can you add a % sign to your graph information? I have three rows, 2008,
2007 & % inc/Dec. I can not get the % sign to show on the graph. |

Where are you wanting this? If as a series legend or an axis title, you can
include any text you like. -- David Biddulph "Marie" wrote in message ... Can you add a % sign to your graph information? I have three rows, 2008, 2007 & % inc/Dec. I can not get the % sign to show on the graph. |

The easiest way is to format the original data as a percent.
First you have to divide the column of data by 100. Copy the number "100" from a cell, highlight the the data column and use paste special - divide. Then format the cells to display percentages, in excel 2007. there is a % sign in the middle of the "home" ribbon. or when you highlight the data, right click and choose the % from the ribbon that appears. ..27 will become 27% [note:this only changes the format, not the cell contents] in 2003, Format cells, number You can also specify the number format when you format an individual data series in the chart.
