I would like to set a scatterplot that has a crosshairs grid view. When you
set major grid lines, it populates several vertical and horizontal lines; i would like to have one vertical and one horizontal lines. thanks |

Don't use any grid lines. Instead, adjust the X and Y axis to give
you the desired effect. In each case, set the axis parameter so that it intersects the other axis at the midway point.
