How do I add data label leaders lines to a stacked bar chart? My chart is
coded to update as new data are added. But if the value in the cell is small, the data labels do not fit in the bars. Have tried using pie charts instead but they won't work for my purpose. Any advise on adding label leaders to a stacked bar chart when values are too small to fit inside the bar slices? |

Hi,
You could try adding xy-scatter series and draw your own lines from data label to column section. Cheers Andy beaudrym wrote: How do I add data label leaders lines to a stacked bar chart? Hi,
Column charts don't support leader lines, only pies. One possibility is to replace all the data lables with callouts - you can get callouts via the Drawing toolbar, AutoShapes command. One other, unlikely possibility, is that if you only have one column stacked is that you can play some tricks with the column of pie chart type. If you only have a single stacked column let us know and I will explain the rather unusual method. -- Cheers, Shane Devenshire "beaudrym" wrote: How do I add data label leaders lines to a stacked bar chart? Yes, I have only one bar/column, and would _very_ interested to know how the
"trick" works. Thanks! "ShaneDevenshire" wrote: Hi, Column charts don't support leader lines, only pies.
