I want to display the workbook name in a chart. I've tried entering
=CELL("filename") in cell A1 and then in the title field of chart options
entering =A1 with no luck. in addition to the workbook name, I also want to
include other text for the specific chart. I have several versions of the
same chart. My goal is to ealisy identify which workbook a specific chart
comes from when copied into another workbook or presentation.

I will really appreciate help.

I found my answer on how to display the file name in a chart.

I just needed to type the formula in the formula bar on the top of the
window not directly in the title box in the chart. I also realized that I
could add a text box and use that instead of the title. More info at this
