I would like to produce a chart and then rearrange the data to produce a
separate chart. Is there a way of separating a chart from it's data so that I can take the data and after rearrangement, produce another chart? |

Separating a Chart from its Data in Excel
1. Select the chart you want to separate from its data. 2. Click on the "Design" tab in the Excel ribbon. 3. In the "Data" group, click on the "Select Data" button. 4. In the "Select Data Source" dialog box, click on the "Hidden and Empty Cells" button at the bottom. 5. In the "Hidden and Empty Cell Settings" dialog box, check the box next to "Show data in hidden rows and columns". 6. Click "OK" to close all the dialog boxes. To completely separate the chart from its data:
This will create a static image of the chart that is not linked to any data. If you want to update the chart with new data, you will need to create a new chart based on the updated data.
