Where/how can I change the name of a chart?

When my chart is referenced in macro code, it is referred to as "Chart 2",
i.e. ActiveSheet.ChartObjects("Chart 2").Activate

I want to be able to change the name to something more meaningful, but I
want to do it directly on the chart itself and not in the macro code.

Any ideas?
