Is there a way to get excel to calculate the area between 2 graphs?

You could use this technique from Bernard Liengme's web site:

http://people.stfx.ca/bliengme/Excel...UnderCurve.htm

Calculate both areas, then subtract.

The problem is that the graphs are not curves, and are not friendly toward
formulas being applied. They are very irregular in shape.

You could readily set up something as simple as Simpson's rule
for each graph.

I was afraid to ask what made the data too irregular for this approach
(Bernard's must be Simpson's or something similar).

Hi,

Can you describe or post a link to how your graph looks if Bernard's
approach will not suit.

Cheers
Andy
