I have two lines in a line graph that mean the same thing, so I only want it
to appear in my legend, but still want both lines in my graph. I can't seem to delete it from the legend without deleting the series from my graph. The best I've done so far is to put in a blank series name, but the symbol still shows twice. |

You will need to click within the legend twice to delete a single entry.
First, click once on the legend and you'll see little black "handles" appear around the entire border of the legend. When you see the handles around the border, slowly click again over the legend entry that you want to delete. You should then see the handles appear around the legend entry. Now you can hit the delete key to delete the single legend entry. -- John Mansfield http://cellmatrix.net "Jodi" wrote: I have two lines in a line graph that mean the same thing, so I only want it to appear in my legend, but still want both lines in my graph. Make sure the second click selects the text, not the symbol. Deleting the
symbol deletes the series. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Tutorials and Custom Solutions Peltier Technical Services, Inc. - http://PeltierTech.com _______ "John Mansfield" wrote in message ...
