Default Giant font sizes in chart text boxes

Sometimes text boxes on charts display a very large font size; only when
selecting the chart will it be shown as the size I set it to (something like
18). It seems to happen when Auto-scale fonts is checked for the chart,
which is hard to understand because I am not resizing the charts!

Maybe with AutoScale checked, Excel feels a duty to recalculate the font
size. At least it returns to normal when you select the chart.
