Is it possible to format the font of category labels in a chart? I am
creating a radar chart, and I want to use particular colours for each category to make my report clearer. I have tried colouring the list in my original series, but the formatting is not copied across to my chart. Any suggestions would be very welcome and gratefully received! |

You cannot format individual category labels. You could add a series with
points where each category label goes, apply data labels that contain the category label text, and format the data labels. Or you could to the same with text boxes. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Tutorials and Custom Solutions Peltier Technical Services, Inc. - http://PeltierTech.com _______ "Jampot" wrote in message ... ![]() I have a question regarding bar charts in Office 2003. I created a chart by selecting cells and then clicking on the chart wizard button, so I did not prespecify series names for my category or value axes. I was able to use the "Source Data" menu to modify the names of my value series labels from the automatically assigned "series 1, series 2, etc. However, only one space appears when I try to change the category label. When I enter a value for that label, the other 6 numbers disappear and only 1 category has a name. Is there any way to get around this? I would like to label everything without having to create individual text boxes. "Jon Peltier" wrote: You cannot format individual category labels.
