I want to set Major unit for the Y Axis to even time intervals, such as 2:00
minutes. In Excel 97-2000, you would just put in "2:00" and it would convert it to a number and the intervals would be even number. Excell 2007 does not allow me to do that in the Axis Options. Can someone help? |

Nobody can help. Microsoft forgot to build this capability into the new

It does work in Excel 97-2000. All you have to do is type "2:00" or 2:00:00"
in the number box next tot he Major Unit selection. when you tab out, it will convert it to a decimal number. Excel 2007 does not do this, now. When you tab out it goes back to the value that was in the field, originally. "Jon Peltier" wrote: Nobody can help. It works in 97 through 2003, and probably earlier. But the people designing
the interface only thought of dates in the date-scale category axis, completely forgetting how useful it is to have the ability to enter dates or times or ANY number format in a dialog. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Tutorials and Custom Solutions Peltier Technical Services, Inc. - http://PeltierTech.com _______ "Ron" wrote in message ...
