I am wondering whether anyone knows how I can make charting faster...

I am working on a document that contains a macro that creates 3 tabs and
saves them in a new file to a network drive, and then loops this process over
again about 1200 times. The process takes about 10 seconds per file (at
most). I was asked to include 4 tabs of charts (with between 2-5 charts per
tab, a total of 12 charts.) When included the charts and tried to run the
looping process in made the run time of my process jump from 10 seconds per
file to 60+ seconds per file. Is there anyway I can speed the process up
without removing the graphs?

Could you make a template of the workbooks (including data sheets and
charts), and repopulate the data as appropriate? This might take less time
than building the workbooks from scratch.
