Default Error bars

I've recently learned how to get error bars on my charts. I was now
wondering if there is a way to have a value attached to the error bar appear
above it. Or, if there is a way in general to place values you assign above
parts of a chart, like an error bar.

Default Error bars

I will often add an XY series with custom data point labels, with X and Y
calculated to put the label where I want.

I hate to be annoying but how do you make a custom data point label.

If it's just one label, I add labels to the series, using any of the
options, like series name. Then I select the label, and edit its text. If
it's a number of labels, I use one of these free Excel utilities:

Rob Bovey's Chart Labeler, http://appspro.com
John Walkenbach's Chart Tools, http://j-walk.com
