how do i display chart equations in office 2007
 
i have made a chart and now want to display the equations. in office 2003 i
just clicked on options and clicked display equation, but in 2007 there does
not seem to be the options button... help...

Which equations? The SERIES formula is shown in the Formula Bar in 2003 and
in 2007 whenever you select a series.

To display formulas in cells, in 2003 it was Tools menu Options View,
Window Options, Formulas. In 2007 it's Formulas tab Formula Auditing group
Show Formulas (I looked on the View tab, then on the Review tab, before I

noticed the Formulas tab). In both 2003 and 2007 you can toggle this setting
with CTRL+~.

My beta version of XL2007 has died and I am awaiting the "real thing" any
day soon, so I cannot answer

Right-click the trendline and from the context menu select Trendline
Options... (yes, MS deimplemented the ability to call up dialog boxes with
double-click!) In the resulting dialog box select the Trendline Options
tab. The rest should be self-evident.
