Hi, I am totally lost while trying to make a line chart.
This is the story: I have during one week collected CO2 values together with temperature and the number of people together with the time in the computer classrom at the school where I work. I whant to make a line chart where the PPM CO2 is plotted (vertical - left) and on the horizontal axis is the time, on the other vertical axis (right side) I want the temperature shown. The number of people should be plotted as labels or in the horizontal axis (under the time). Is this possible? Best regards Bertil |

Bertil -
Set up the data in four columns: first column with the time (put date and time together in a cell), second with CO2 readings, third with temperature, fourth with number of people. Select the first three columns and create an XY chart (not a line chart) but select the style with straight (not smoothed) lines connecting points. Right click on the temperature series, and on the Axis tab, choose Secondary. For the labels download one of these free and easy to install and use Excel addins: Rob Bovey's Chart Labeler, http://appspro.com John Walkenbach's Chart Tools, http://j-walk.com Apply the labels in the fourth column to either existing column. If you want the labels to appear along the top or bottom of the chart, add a column of values to the table that are equal to the top or bottom Y value on either axis, add a series with this data, and add the labels to this series. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Tutorials and Custom Solutions http://PeltierTech.com _______ "Berra" wrote in message ...
