Default Chart Copying Issue

Hello all,
Please help my boss's boss with this:
1) Select whole page, including chart
2) Copy
3) Open new workbook
4) select page
5) paste
So far so good, BUT the new copy references the cells in the old workbook. The
new workbook has the same information in the same cells. How do I make this copy
in such a way that the new chart references cells in it's own (the new )
workbook?
Thanx,
-plh

Default Chart Copying Issue

Hi,

With the original file, right click the sheet tab in the and pick Move
or Copy...
Use the To book dropdown to specify (new book).

Sheet and chart will appear in a new workbook.

Cheers
Andy

to moi.
