Default Series Formatting changes when I save and reopen a document

I have created a pivot chart and table from a spreadsheet that contains
formulas that derive values of other cells. I have added formatting for the
data series and saved the document, when I reopen, the formatting is
incorrect. It retains the colors I've used but loses the association with
the series and the series order. Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried using, Format, then Conditional?
