Default cannot check interpolate

This setting is available only for line and XY charts. (It's also available
for Area charts, but does not cause interpolation of the data).

Default cannot check interpolate

Two ways:

1. Make the chart as a line chart, choose the Interpolate behavior, then
change the other series to a column type.

2. Put #N/A into the blank cells in the line chart's source data, which will
make Excel interpolate across the gap.
