I have a list of students with their grades at the end of each year. The
grades are alphanumeric - 3C, 4B and so on. I need to make a chart for each student that shows their grades year on year and then with a trend line (?) to predict their ultimate grade. Is there any easy way of doing this? |

You will need to convert the alphanumeric grades into numeric values, so
that Excel has nonzero values to chart. In order to show the alphanumeric grades along the Y axis, use a dummy series as demonstrated he http://peltiertech.com/Excel/Charts/ArbitraryAxis.html - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Tutorials and Custom Solutions http://PeltierTech.com _______ "Harry Hornet" wrote in message ...
