Default New to Chart Help (Pie Chart)

I am trying to set up a chart from data in an excel spreadsheet, but am
having difficulty thus far.

I have a cell values as follows:

w41 = total hrs
x3-x20 = category A
y3-y20 = category B

I want to have the Pie Chart to show what (%) of w41 is category A
and
what (%) is category B of w41.

Eg say :
w41 = 100

cat A(sum) = 25
cat B(sum) = 75

I cannot get these segments(slices) to be separate, but i keep getting W41
value = 100% and the other segments do not display.
Can anyone assist me with this setup, i am sure it is easy yet as i do not
work with charts i cannot get it set right.

Regards

Corey

Your data needs to look like:

Category A 25
Category B 75

in a 2 x 2 grid. You don't need to convert to percentages, you can just keep
the sums:

Category A 18
Category B 54

and if you want, the data labels can display the percentages. Notice that
the total in W41 does not appear in the grid. Select the 2 x 2 grid and run
the chart wizard to make the chart.
