Default summing up

I have a spreadsheet with data that I wish to sum up just two columns (A and
K cols). I need to filter column "A"( that column list names of items which
can be repeated in any order), and totals in column "K".
I'm looking for a vb code that will insert a summing sheet with the list of
items in one column and there totals in another, and then product a bar chart.
Is tht possible?

Have you thought of a pivot table? Try Help and then come back with more
questions.
best wishes
