extrapolation curves on excel
I have a set of points on a graph(positive slope). It stops and the next
point jumps up by 14 y-axis values. From there the new line starts with a positive slope. I need to create a vertical line starting at the last point before the points jump on the x-axis. This line will allow me to connect the two separate slopes. Thank you! |

In article ,
says... I have a set of points on a graph(positive slope). It stops and the next point jumps up by 14 y-axis values. From there the new line starts with a positive slope. I need to create a vertical line starting at the last point before the points jump on the x-axis. This line will allow me to connect the two separate slopes. Thank you! It would appear you have two separate series. If so, add a third series that consists of only the last point in the first series and the first point in the 2nd series. For this dummy series, set the Line to some visible type and the markers to 'none'. -- Regards, Tushar Mehta www.tushar-mehta.com Excel, PowerPoint, and VBA add-ins, tutorials Custom MS Office productivity solutions |
