Default SaveAs,csv

VBA is US Centric. I believe you have more control in xl2002 and later, but
that doesn't help you.

Chip Pearson has written code to write a CSV file with a specified
delimiter. (code for both import and export)

Hi,
I am using excel97 to save an excel file to csv. When I use
File/SaveAs/toto.csv, I obtain a file with a semicolon (";") delimiter
which is the goal. But, I want to use a macro in vba to do so. This
time, with the saveAs function, I obtain a record with a comma delimiter
(","). I would like to know the reason for excel to give a semicolon
delimiter when I save the file with menu File/SaveAs/toto.csv and on
doing this action, when I save the macro and re use it in vba code, I
get a comma delimiter !!!!
I have tried this with excel2000 and in both cases, I obtain a semicolon
delimiter. Is it an excel configuration to be done ? Thanks
