Default Printing to Generic / Text printer

I used a Genicom at work a long time ago. As I recall, it could emulate
many different types of printers. Maybe you can set it to emulate the Epson
if that works.

I have the printer string required to switch the printer to 17CPI correct.
However, my columns come out misaligned to the extent that Column D and
later are completely off the page. Anyone have any ideas. I've tried
column width specifications, different numerical formats, cell alignments,
etc. When printing to an Epson defined as Generic/Text, it works. When
printing to an ANSI compatible Genicom 4440XT (which doesn't have a

Win2000
driver at all) Excel doesn't work. MS-Word does. Both are from Office

XP.

Thanks,
Mike.
