Default Conditional Formating

Ronan,

Select the entire data set. Than go to conditional formating.
Change to 'Formula Is'
than enter =$A1="myword"
Where A is the column you want.
Where 1 is the first row of your selection.
Change as needed to fit your circumstances.

Once you get the hang of this you can record a macro to automate
the process for future needs.

Hi,

I am quite new in excel so this question might be silly. I am using
conditonal formatting and I'd like a whole line to change color (and
not only the cell) when I find a certain word in a given column. Hope
this is clear.
Thanks

Ronan
