Default Dates

Gina,

If it's always the 6th of the month, you could try

=DATE(YEAR(TODAY()),MONTH(TODAY()),6)

--
HTH

I need to get my spreadsheet to automatically update dates
for when bills were last paid - Note: I've already got
the 'Todays Date' column to auto update with =NOW()
ie,

Item Date Last Paid Todays Date
Mortgage 06/08/03 22/08/03

If I came back into spreadshee in say, 3 weeks time on 12
Sept, the todays date will auto read 12/09/03, but what
can I do to get the Date Last Paid to automatically read
the latest date paid, ie 06/09/03

Anybody got any ideas? Please help!!
Kind regards, Gina
