Or even use a combo box with appropriate heading as row

You can define the crieteria to be text from the text

box.

if you say x= textbox1.text then on the criteria1 = x

Can anyone help with a filtering question? I have a

series of records
(rows), which can currently be filtered using

AutoFilter. However, I would
like to include a form, through which users can select

various criteria for
the list to be then filtered in place.

Do I have to have a criteria range on one of the

worksheets or is there a
way of using data "embeded" in the form?

Thanks in advance

Regards

John
