Default Change hyperlinks en masse?

Instead of
sOld = InputBox("Please enter the portion of the url that you wish to
change")
sNew = InputBox("Please enter the new portion of the url")
use sOld = "OldName"
and sNew = "NewName"

Yes, the location on the new server follows the same
path. All I really need to do is replace the reference to
the old server name in all of the hyperlinks. It should
be a slam dunk if I can get the right script (sort of
what's already been posted--thanks Mark D--, but
preferably without the textbox prompt since I know the new
server name).

Thanks!

Dave,

Just a couple of quick questions about your hyperlinks.
I'm assuming they link to files on the old server.
Is their text in the cells that contain info about the

location on the old
server?
Will they be in a similar location on the new server
ie \\Old\Management\Filename to \\New\Managment\Filename

Greetings Gurus. Anyone know how to programmatically
change hyperlink addresses?

We moved a data share from a dying server to a newer

one,
and lo/behold a spreadsheet on another server has a

column
with several thousand entries pointing to the old

server.

Tried to use and alias record in DNS but that didn't

work.

I'd like to be able to script the changes to each cell

to
remove the reference to the server name since that

should
go into the properties of the spreadsheet anyways. But
the hyperlink location is buried into the cell

somehow...

At least the location and format of the hyperlinks are
predictable!

Thanks,
Dave
