Default Worksheet/workbook protection property?

go to the object browser and select the Excel library, search term protect.

Scroll through the objects. You will see properties like ProtectStructure,
ProtectWindow (workbook level protection), ProtectContents,
ProtectScenario, etc for sheet level protection.

If one of these are true, that particular aspect is protected.

Hi

I need to find out whether a spreadsheet is protected at worksheet
and/or workbook level. I can't find a property which will tell me this
- the protect/unprotect methods will add or remove protection but how
can i find out without actually doing this?

thanks in advance
