I found this message on how to solve the problem where one cannot
create a digital signature using makecert.

"I used makecert.exe to create a new certificate directly with the
following command: makecert -n "CN=mbk" -sk myNewRootKey -r -ss
myNewRoot
I then used the Certificates Snap-in to the Microsoft Management
Console to select the certificate in the myNewRoot tree entry, copied
it then pasted into the Personal store."

I cannot be able to trace the author of the message, therefore I
would like to ask how does one use a certificate's snap-in to
Microsoft Management Console to select the certificate in the
myNewRoot tree entry, copy and then paste to a Personal store?
