There is nothing it that formula that will make it work for pre-2009 and not
for later years.
Perhaps you need to look at your data values?
If you have a problem, you could tell us what values are being fed into the
formula when it works for you, what the values are when it doesn't work, and
in that case, what result it gave and what you expected.
