If you want contains "People", use:
=COUNTIF(A1:A9,"*people*")
For the last part, you'll need to provide more detail on "according to their
month in a new worksheet". However, I suspect your best bet is a Pivot
Table.

data under the row AG contains "People-1,People-2...." in each cell. and
also
under row D, it contains the dates created.
So i need to filter out the numbers of cells with the word "People" and at
