Default HELP ME

If you want contains "People", use:
=COUNTIF(A1:A9,"*people*")

For the last part, you'll need to provide more detail on "according to their
month in a new worksheet". However, I suspect your best bet is a Pivot
Table.

Fred

okay. thanks for your response. Sorry for not being clear enough. The raw
data under the row AG contains "People-1,People-2...." in each cell. and
also
under row D, it contains the dates created.

So i need to filter out the numbers of cells with the word "People" and at
the same time, according to their month in a new worksheet. Thanks.

Assume your sum is in a10 on w/sheet "sheet1"

=COUNTIF(A1:A9,"people")

In your other w/sheet in a10 or wherever input

=sheet1!a10

Hey guys pls help me now.

I got a worksheet of raw data. Inside this worksheet, I need to find
and
count the number of cells containing the word " People" and this figure
will
automatically appear in another worksheet in a cell. Is this possible.

Please advice
