Hi,

Recently security patch kb972580 for Microsoft Office was updated for Office
2k3 SP3, Word Viewer 2k3, Excel Viewer 2k3 in one of the machine.I have
Active Reports - Excel Spreadsheet for report generation in my
application.After this security patch update, I could not view the output in
Excel spreadsheet.

When trying to open Excel report, I am getting error message as ""Errors
were detected in file 'filename.XLS'

The following is a list of repairs:
Damage to the file was so extensive that repairs were not possible. Excel
attempted to recover your formulas and values, but some data may have been
lost or corrupted."

In another machine, this security patch was not updated and Excel
spreadsheet is working fine.I could see the report output without any issues.

Please help me in resolving this issue.
