It really depends on the type of data in the organisation.

Is it
Financial,
Statistical
Mathematical
Theortical
Pictures
Personal Data
Songs
Films

Excel can do tables, PivotTables, Summaries, Pie Charts, Graphs, Pictures,
and with VBA it can do almost anything.

Remember data can be any piece of information, you need to be specific
