Default Conditional Formatting Question

Greetings!

I am using Windows 7 and Excel 2007.

In Column A I have numerous cells which contain a certain special "word":
let's say the special word is QXT. (The cells contain other words, of course.)

I selected the column, click on Conditional Formatting / Highlight Cell
Rules / Text that Contains ...

Then I typed in the "Format cells that contain the text:" QXT

with "Light Red Fill with Dark Red Text" then I clicked OK.

Now I would like to delete ONLY all the cells which are now Conditionally
Formatted (with the red fill and dark red text). How do I do this? I am still
a newbie, so could you please explain in easy, step-by-step English? Thank
you.
