Default Suggestion

well, the weekly dates are in the I5:U5 range, but I get your idea; count the
column of players and if I have over 20... (IF
(COUNTA(I5:I30)<20,COUNTA(I5:U5)*15... but each column is for a different
week...players/ this plus-minus formula are in the G5:G30 range... I could
think about switching this over to a table with the players in the top row
and dates in col A.

Maybe this......

=(SUM(I5:U5))+F5-(IF(COUNTA(I5:U5)<X1,COUNTA(I5:U5)*15,COUNTA(I5:U5 *10)),
where X1 contains your crossover number.

this gives me a plus/minus balance for a team roster in Col A, dates are
in
the range, which is added if they paid money or counted as present if
there
is an x in the cell, F5 is a credit cell, and the count is $15 per
session.
Now if I get enough people, I only need to charge $10 each week. Any
ideas
on how to maybe mark the column the amount charged and have the plus/minus
work?
somehting like a counta-ifs function?
