Default Name Scope

What steps did you follow? If you right-click the tab, choose 'move or copy'
then 'create a copy' then click OK, yuo should have an identical copy of that
sheet (if 255 characters in 1+ cells; copy from original sheet and
paste-special into new sheet). From there, you should be able to do whatever
you want to do on the new sheet. Try this method and see if that works for
you.

Good luck,

There is a template in Excel called Loan Amortization. It uses many
named ranges. I want to create a copy of the original sheet in the
same workbook so I want to change the scope of all of the named ranges
from global (workbook) to local (worksheet). I was able to change the
scope for 25 out of 29 of the names but it doesn't work for the
remaining four which a Int_Rate, Loan_Amount, Loan_Start, and
Loan_Years. Does anyone know why?
