Default Calc time with a lookback #2

Hi Per,
This is a new spreadsheet and i started on 12/1/09, no data exists prior to
that date, however i could provide it if the formulas need it. (11/30/09
could contain info but no formulas for 24 hrs, wk, mnth, yr). There are other
dates after 12/1/09 up to and including 12/10/09, same type of data (the
other data not shown here would be a cell that sums for day, cell that sums
for wk, cell that sums for mnth, cell that sums for yr. they are in cells J6,
O3, P3, Q3 respectively, hopefully this helps.
I appreciate your interest in helping me, as i have stated this would
provide me with ease of use for work.

thanx
Doug

Per, thanks for getting back. In response to your question yes all
flights/time are related to this date in A1. Here is a snapshot of what
Day 1
looks like. 04:00 is a report time for work.
Your help is greatly appreciated...thanks
12/01/2009 04:00 Day 1 Flight Time & Limitations
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
05:00 08:00 10:10

Hi Doug

You say that you have date of flight in A1, is all flight times in A4:J4
related to this date? If this is the case, can flight date be inserted in
A1:J1 ?

Is next date in G1 or ?

What do you need as a result, sum of hours, or a message OK/Not OK ?

Regards,
Per

Posted an earlier thread, but not what i am looking for. Any help is
appreciated.
This is a personal spreadsheet to use for my job. Req's are that i not
fly
8.0hrs/24hrs, and not 30hrs/week, and not 100hrs/mnth, and not
1000hrs/yr.
Cell A1 contains date of flight.
A2 thru J2 contain times started: examples:
14:00 16:30 18:00
A3 thru J3 contain times ended: examples:
15:45 17:30 20:10
A4 thru J4 contain times of each flight: examples:
1:45 1:00 2:10

The formulas I need help on is in calculating if in the preceeding 24
hours
have I gone over 8 hours in that period. Same for week, month, year.

Note: putting the date & time together in one cell is too much.
Thanks in advance for any input.
Doug
