Paste this formula in F1 cell.

=IF(MAX(A1:E1)=0,CHAR(MAX(CODE(A1),CODE(B1),CODE(C 1),CODE(D1),CODE(E1))),MAX(A1:E1))

Change the cell reference to your desired cell, if required.
