Default change year in downloaded calender template

Format (just temporarily) those date cells in an unambiguous format:

mmmm dd, yyyy dddd

And you'll see that 10/17/09 isn't October 17, 2009

=======
ps. I'd use windows control panel to change the short date format to mm/dd/yyyy
(a 4 digit year). Then back to excel and change 2005 to 2009.

I like the 4 digit year, but if you don't like it, remember to change the
windows short data back to what you like.

I downloaded a weekly time sheet with breaks and tried to change the week
starting and ending dates from 05 to 09 but it prints 10/17/09 as a Friday
instead of a Saturday. Why is the answer not searchable? Am I the only one w
this dumb question about excel03?
