This has annoyed me for some time. (Excel 2003 and probably all others)

Excel changes the aspect ratio of items when it prints and I dont know why,
but I now see that it was intentionally written in, therefore can it be
turned off?

My example,
Draw a rectangle using auto shapes, change its dimensions to 18cm by 18cm

If you wish to change the shape properties to 'move but dont resize with
cells' and ensure that the print scaling is set to 100%, not that it makes
any difference but some threads claim otherwise.

Print it! you will notice that the printed width is 18.9cm and the printed
height is 17.4cm. Why would this be set this way???

Anyhow the reason I sat it was written in is that if you now select the
image, hold shift and then select EditCopy Picture.... you get a prompt
asking if you want it copied as shown on screen or as printed.

How do i force excel to print to the correct dimensions instead of resizing
everything, and i mean everything, to 95% width and 103% height just to get
the printed output correct. I hope there is a good reason for the two aspect
ratios.
