Default Dynamic chart problem (re-posted)

A problem with your computer doesn't mean that you have to repost the
message. The message is still there, and can still be read, with its
replies. You can either read it in the newsgroup directly (providing that
you set your newsreader options not to hide read messages), or read it in
the Google archive:

I suggest that you re-read the advice from Jon and from me.

In the *existing chart* you need to *select the series* which you want to
edit.
What does the series formula in the chart show you *before* you try to
change it to the formula which you say is being flagged with the "function
is not valid" for the series function?

I had to re-post this question due to problems with my computer,
which are sorted now.......hopefully!!!
Previous help from Jon Peltier and others were very much appreciated
but unfortunately did not work.
I would be grateful for more help on this issue. Thank you.

I am following the example from 'Peltier' site.
All goes well until I get to changing the chart's data source.
It tells me to insert the following formula:
=Series(Data!$AI$1,Data!$AH$2:$AH$10,Data!$AI$2:$A I$10,1)
But with no luck, I get the following message "THAT FUNCTION IS NOT
VALID" with "SERIES" highlighted?
Any ideas
