Default Why can't I see the data labels I just added?

Hi,

I'm sorry, I don't know your name. And, thanks for updating your file, it
looks fine to me so I don't yet know what my issue is. But, now that you've
told me that there's an SP3 I'll upgrade. I didn't even know about it.

I've also got one of my company's tech support guys coming by this morning
to investigate.

I'll let you what happens, and thank you again for the help.

Hi Mark, I have done as requested and uploaded a new file today Fri Oct 9/9.

The file is at the top of the home page.

I cannot see any problem.

The only thing that I can think of is that I am on Service Pack 3. Maybe you
need to upgrade?

Please hit Yes if my comments have helped.

Thanks!

Hi,

Thanks, the second file is what I'm trying to do.

I am using Excel 2007, but saving the file as Excel 2003 format. I've
learned since I first posted that my co-workers using Excel 2003 can see the
data labels that I add, but I still can't see them in Excel 2007 and they
don't print either.

Could you recreate your file, and save it in Excel 2003 format, then later
add another data series in column G and stack it on top, and then add data
labels to it? That's closer to the process I've done.

Thanks for investigating.

I have a stacked column chart I created last week with three data series. I
added a fourth series today. I have data labels on the original three, and
tried adding data labels to the fourth series. Excel acts like I added the
labels by giving me a choice to format them, but I can't see them at all.
I've tried changing the font color, but they don't show up at all.

Three of the four data series are in consecutive columns B-D and the fourth
series is in a non-consecutive column F. Does this have anything to do with
it?

I have Windows XP and Excel 2007 with SP1. What am I doing wrong?
