Hi Matt
I would set up a table with Sales group, Back-end sorfware platform provider
etc. in A2:A3... and years in B1:F1, and insert percentages in the table.
With Revenue for years in B7:F7, revenue for Sales group formula is
=B7*B2
and revenur for Back-end software provider formula is:
=B7*B3
now copy formulas to other years.
BTW: You can set up the percentage table in another sheet if needed.
Hopes this helps.

I am looking to figure out how to set up a formula where I have two
separate entities sharing in the revenue of each individual client.
The sales group will receive 70% of the gross revenue generated by the
client in year 1, 60% in year 2, 50% in year 3, 40% in year 4 and 30%
in year 5 and beyond. *The back-end software platform provider will
receive the inverse (30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 70%). *The equation gets more
interesting when additional sales people are hired and new clients are
added throughout the years. Can anyone help on how to set up my
spreadsheet - formula's etc
Thanks

Thanks for the assistance - what I failed to mention is that the Sales
Group will receive 70%, 60%, 50% etc of the revenue
