Add an anchor. Specifically, to the hyperlink, append

#Sheet1!A1

so if your hyperlink target is

file://localhost/Users/jem/Documents/workbook1.xls

then add the tab name and a cell reference:

file://localhost/Users/jem/Documents/workbook1.xls#Sheet2!A1
